I have to confess that I am not the most organized person. It's not because I don't want to be it's because I am completely over whelmed, where do I start, what do I buy to organize our stuff, what do I keep, what do I toss? I am so confused by all of it that I just can't seem to get started. Ugh!!! If there is anyone out there that has some ideas PLEASE let me know I could really use some help.

A Public Appeal
I have to confess that I am not the most organized person. It's not because I don't want to be it's because I am completely over whelmed, where do I start, what do I buy to organize our stuff, what do I keep, what do I toss? I am so confused by all of it that I just can't seem to get started. Ugh!!! If there is anyone out there that has some ideas PLEASE let me know I could really use some help.

I am always ready for a challenge. I have learned alot from my husband, yup, thats right he is the king organizer in this household. We live by a simple rule: Everything has a place. Our kids toybox is even organized to a degree. I have grown to actually enjoy doing it. I organize not only my house but 2 buisness offices. I'm willing to help. ( I feel like I just posted my resume)

My mother thinks I'm super organized, but if you were to see my house you would question her judgement! Here's what I've learned so far: get containers that are stackable and fit well together, so you don't waste room. Look at your stuff and try to judge what size you need - you can put your stuff into piles and then get a better idea of the size containers you need. If it's pantry or closet items I like clear because I like being able to see into them. If they are going to be out in the room, then you most likely would want nice colored ones. As your kids grow and your "stuff" changes, you may need to adjust some things. For papers I am a binder woman. Good luck!
