Labor Day

On Monday we went to Deerfield Mass to go to Magic Wings and Yankee Candle with Eric's brother Nate his girlfriend Sue and her daughter Ariel.
Magic Wings is a butterfly conservatory and garden http://www.magicwings.com/. There are thousands of butterflies and moths. It is truly awesome to watch them fly around and have them land on you. The kids loved it. If you ever go remember to wear bright colors the butterflies are especially attracted to yellow.

Ethan stood so still hoping one would land on his finger but had no luck.

There are benches you can sit very still on and wait for a butterfly to land on you. I guess none of us sat still enough because none landed on any of us.

Ethan even tried putting a flower on his head to try to get a butterfly to land on him.

Caleb just kicked back and relaxed.

He loved the quails that were under the plants.

This is a female moth who was giving off sweet smelling pheromones to attract a male but there were no males in the garden. It did attract a lot of butterflies.

They also have bearded dragons and other lizards.

Ethan kept running over to pet Sugar.

After a fun 2 hours in the butterfly garden we left and went over to Yankee Candle.

This Lego robot was the first thing Ethan saw!
Caleb and Ethan loved the Halloween village, snow and smelling all the candles with mommy. Eric of course loved the food and the huge toy store. He said next time he's going to the Man Zone equipped with TVs playing different games and big comfy couches. He was a little disappointed he found it on the way out.
