Yesterday Ethan came home excited to have received a blue paper. "mom not everyone gets a blue paper" as he hands it to me. The paper was to inform us that Ethan was receiving an award at school!! He received the highest reading grade in his class on the EOG(end of grade test) which is a huge deal. E was so afraid he would fail the test and have to stay back. He also received an award for having all As for the last 9 weeks!! Yeah!!! He's officially out of 3rd grade.
I can't believe Ethan is going into the fourth grade on the 11th of July. I loved fourth grade, I met my best childhood friend Amy in fourth grade, had my first crush in fourth grade and stopped someone from cheating off me for the first time in fourth grade(how I met Amy). Was given a second set of parents(Amy's parents) who helped me through my parents divorce and my uncles death. Fourth grade was full of wonderful blessings for me. Ethan, I hope that you will have as wonderful fourth grade as I did.
