Kids do the darnest things

O.K. this is kind of a gross story but it must be documented for future embarrassment.

Every morning when Caleb wakes up I say "huh do you hear the birds" and look around the room. Well, he has now caught on but adds in a surprised look on his face and does it to all sounds especially when he passes gas. I know it's kind of gross but it is hilarious.

SUPER POPS!

We were driving in the car the other day when Ethan told me he wanted to have a SUPER POP, I asked him "what's a super pop" he then tells me "MOM I call them SUPER POPS now because lollipop is just too silly"

Caleb Speaks

I have been so worried about Caleb because he hasn't really said much and Ethan was talking in sentences at one. My father in-law told me not to worry that Eric's brother Bobby didn't say a word until he was two and when he started to talk it was in sentences, he said it was like he was waiting to get it right or until he had something important to say.

Today Caleb and Ethan were arguing over a cup when all of a sudden Caleb said

"NO MINE"

Happy Father's Day

Primary is GREAT!!! Today Ethan Made Eric a Father's day card that made us laugh. It's funny what they notice

He also decorated a cookie for his Dad, himself and one for me. Oh so sweet.

This is the story of the cookie:

Ethan: Mommy can I eat my cookie

Me: not yet we have to have lunch first

Ethan: PLLLLEEEAAASSSEE

Me:NO you have to eat first

Ethan:PLLLEEEAAASSSEEEEEEEE

Me:NO and if you ask again we'll go home right now and you won't get to eat the cookie today, It's your choice

Ethan: Eat lunch

Me:O.K.

Well we ate lunch at church thanks to some really great families in our ward who decided to put on a father's day lunch for everyone and then,

Ethan: Mom can I have my cookie now (this comes immediately after he finished his chocolate flan)

Me hoping he'll forget about the cookie: not right now

I got no argument we were getting loaded into the car and we can't find Ethan

Me: Ethan where are you?

nothing

Me: Ethan where are you?

I can hear him outside so I look out and there he is with one hand behind his back?

Me: What are you doing?

Ethan: Nothing

Me: Ethan, show me your hand to which he holds up the empty hand (it took all my strength not to burst out laughing) no your other hand

Ethan: I can't

Me: Ethan 1.....2.......

he shows me his hand holding his half eaten cookie.

What would you do?? remember I did tell him he could have the cookie after lunch.

A True Artibani Boy

We were at Nanny's house for dinner Sunday night when she broke out the salsa and lime tortillas, we were all enjoying them even Caleb we gave him a few chips when all of a sudden he dipped his chip in the salsa we all laughed, Caleb being a true Artibani BOY will try anything at least twice and even if he doesn't like it. We all thought it was cute until he started to double dip YUCK!

Memorial Day

We had a great memorial day weekend, we went to the Bristol parade, Ethan and Julie rode in the back of one of Eric's Dad's army trucks.

Then off to our ward picnic were Ethan rode his bike without training wheels for the first time(Caleb had to have a ride too),

and the kids had a great time with some balls someone brought.

We ended the day at my mom's house, she fed us and the kids fed the chickens.

We ended the weekend with Eric's family, they all came over for a fire and smores in our backyard. A yummy end to a great weekend!
