Halloween Fun

Last night we carved a pumpkin!

After a little coaxing from Eric Ethan got up enough courage to put his hand inside the pumpkin but had to run and wash his hand immediately.

He was happy with the finished product and sat in the kitchen with the lights off looking at it singing halloween songs he learned at school.

Apple Picking

Saturday we went apple picking down the street at

Ethan had so much fun, he loved picking the apples and then putting them into his own bag.

Ethan and Karl aka baby Karl had fun playing cowboys Tuesday night.

The Train Table

We were so excited to give Ethan a train table for his birthday but to our disappointment he has played with it for about a minute. I have been feeling like it was a big waste of money but now that Caleb can get to it he loves it!!!

Repentance

Last night I was on the phone, so of course Ethan was acting up and being that I was on the phone with the bishop he was being even worse. As I was speaking to the bishop Ethan jumped and accidentally landed on Caleb's head (as if the kid hasn't had enough injuries lately) so I hung up on bishop Evans and quickly scooped Caleb up and Eric and I went into the other room to console him. When Caleb was calmed down Eric went into the living room and found Ethan on his knees with his arms folded saying a prayer when he was done Eric asked him what he was doing he replied "repenting."

Family Hike

Last night was great Eric got home early from work so we were able to go for a family hike behind the house it was nice to spend time together out in the woods. We walked to camp Artibani and found a new campsite that Eric and Ethan can't wait to try out. I love my family so much, we have truly been blessed.

Daddy's Birthday

On Eric's birthday we went to Minor's farm for the festival that had happened the weekend before. Ethan was happy to see that they still had all the jumping things (I'm not sure what they are actually called) so we hung out while Ethan played. Even though it didn't turn out the way we planned it was a great day!!!

The Quiet Pirate

I just found this picture from the cape and think it's too funny not to share. We were driving and all of a sudden Ethan became very quiet so I looked back and saw this.

Caleb's Surgery

Even with his last bottle at 2:00am Caleb was his happy self and went with the Dr. without any tears.

When he woke up he cried for just a few minutes then fell back to sleep. When I saw his stiches I got a little dizzy so as quick as could be the nurses gave me apple juice then took Caleb from me and give him to Eric, I felt so stupid. The nurse assured me that this happens at least a couple of times a week.

Thankfully He won't remember any of this.
