Tonight Eric said the prayer for dinner and said “we humbly ask” Ethan asked "why do we say humbly?" after a brief explanation he says "I have my humble-ied too" so I asked “where do you keep it?” He said “in my heart, there’s enough room in there for my humble-ied."

Today I set up the playroom moving all of Caleb's toys into this tall basket wondering how is he going to get to the toys?

While I was on the computer he figured it out for the both of us.

Cooking With Daddy

Today while I was at Time Out For Women Eric, Ethan and Caleb went to the store to buy the ingredients for the cheese cake they made from scratch for my birthday. When I got home Eric told me that he will never complain about how little I get accomplished in a day.

Grammy's new baby

Last night we went to see my mother after she had back surgery at Charlotte Hungerford hospital, her room just happened to be in the maternity ward. Ethan had fun eating baby Karl's snacks and watching cartoons. Today we were driving in the car when I explained to Ethan that Grammy is home from the hospital and that we were going to her house to see her, he then asks "did Grammy bring her baby home too?" I explained to him that Grammy didn't have a baby that she had an operation on her back.

First Day Of School

Yesterday was Ethan's first day of Pre K. He had a great day he said "mom everyone was crying" I asked him if he cried he said "NO" good thing he didn't ask mommy if she cried.
