Pirate Adventures

Wednesday we went on the Pirate Adventure it was so much fun Ethan loved it so much that he's still talking about pirate Pete. On Pirate Adventure they ride you around the bay in a little pirate ship. The kids sign a flag, find a treasure, squirt Pete the pirate with water cannons, and find his secret treasure which turns out to be his dirty laundry and some grog (soda).

The pirate oath! They promise to take only one handful of the treasure and to share the water cannons.

Fun At The Beach

This year we tried out and loved the bayside beach. The waves were small, the water was warm and there were lots of critters to catch.

Fire on the Beach

Sunday August 20, 2006 we went to the coast guard beach and had a fire. It was my favorite part of the trip. The walk to the spot we had the fire was quite an adventure dragging kids, blankets, firewood, corn, s'mores stuff, chairs and sand toys for about 1/2 a mile in the dark on the sandy beach was challenging. With Caleb slipping off my hip and the other arm is full of stuff trying to convince Ethan that there are no sharks on the beach than more than half way there I notice Ethan has no shoes so back I went with Caleb while Ethan cried because of the sharks, after searching back down the beach Eric yells "I've got Ethan's shoes". Finally we got to the fire and had the best time ever. We made s'mores and roasted corn under the coals (also know to our family as dirt corn) the kids dug in the sand and hung out in chairs until Ethan was so tired he cried for us to put him to bed he took the next best thing Nanny's arms. What a great time for us all even Caleb. THANKS MARK !!!!!

Ready for School

Ethan is so excited to start school with his new back pack that the "PPS" (FedEx) guy brought today.

Sick Boys

Ethan woke up on Saturday and told us that his "breath hurt" now both boys are sick. Ethan was refusing to get his pjs on until we put Caleb into his Dino pjs then Ethan wanted his dino pjs too.

It' Finally Here

Okay, those who have had to listen to me say for months that Caleb was getting a tooth, it is finally here, I found it yesterday at Ellen and Karl's house.

Will He Eat Everything?

Yesterday I sat Caleb on a blanket under my rose of sharon tree while I was getting Ethan ready to go swimming. I looked over and saw that Bubba really will eat anything even the flowers from a tree!!

Our Little Fish

Ethan was a little nervous to go in the pool a few weeks ago but would go in if someone was holding him. Grandpy baught him a floatie ring that he would swim around in but would mostly stay on the ladder so he could go under water with his "face mast". Then Truman came over with his cool new floaties, with the new floaties and a little coaxing from Mel and Mommy Ethan swam.




Daddy came home and he jumped!

He loves the pool and everyday he can't wait to jump of the ladder "cuz ya know Mommy jumpin off the ladder is my favoritest thing to do"

First Boo-Boo

Today I sat Caleb on the floor to play while my cousin cut my hair, while she was cutting he fell with quite a thud and got his first Boo-Boo on his nose.

Mr. Clean

Ethan aka Mr. Clean is not aware of what he looks like. He is having too much fun playing in the ash from the wood stove. I was very suprised when he walked into the livingroom(his feet are even worse)
